Though the season isn't turning into a blue Christmas as I first feared, it's not like it's going to be a terribly happy Christmas either. Why? Well, for one, I've just finished this semester with one or two subjects that I'm either going to fail, or be forced to take again next year. Considering the fact that I've been trying to avoid both (that is, failing or repeating a subject), you can understand why I'm not smiling a lot these days.

Also, this is the first Christmas where my family won't be together to celebrate it. Both mom and dad are in the US right now, and while the prospect of them seeing a white Christmas might be a little jealousy-inducing, I'd rather have them right here. After several Christmases worth together, it doesn't feel the same without them this year.

It's going to be a poor (considering the culinary talents of me and my sister) and lonely noche buena this year.

Aside from that, well... I've been neglecting my writing and fanwork for most of this year. And updating my websites. It's like a big piece of me has been cut out. To not be able to express yourself as much as one would like anymore... Well, this is what I get for not keeping a strict schedule.

I can only hope that things change when the New Year comes knocking.
